Motorola Bravo sends Geiger counter crazy

Remember the rather controversial topic of cell phones as well as smartphones carrying a degree of radiation where some quarters believe is able to cause cancer in the long run? Well, if you are Motorola, there is a bittersweet ending to a published list from the Environmental Working Group, as the company currently holds positions on top as well as at the bottom where radiation levels are concerned. The Motorola V100 and V101 are touted to be the lowest radiation emitting phones to date with radiation ratings of 0.14W/kg, but that doesn't mean you can just walk to a store and purchase them since they have long stopped production, so to be more realistic, the “winner” at the moment would be the LG Optimus 7Q aka LG Quantum, as it has a rating of 0.35 W/kg.

Motorola too, takes top spot with their Motorola Bravo which emits 1.59 W/kg. While that won't cause you to grow a third limb or grant you mutant powers of telepathy so that you no longer need a cell phone to communicate with your spouse on the other side of the earth, it might just freak those out who are concerned with statistics and figures.
