Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Photon 4G is Sprint's first Moto smartphone to come with WiMax connectivity, as well as the first to rely on a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.
Like Verizon's yet to be released Droid Bionic, the Motorola Photon 4G has a qHD (960 x 540) display. Its other features include: Wi-Fi, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability, GPS, 8MP rear camera with 720p video recording, VGA front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board memory (expandable via a MicroSD card slot), and a kickstand.
The Motorola Photon 4G measures 126.9 x 66.9 x 12.2 mm, and comes with a 1,700 mAh battery. Sprint didn't say when exactly it would be available, and neither for what price.
We'll cover the Motorola Triumph in a bit, too.
