However, there's a third version of the handset, which is slightly different design-wise, and has been approved by China's equivalent of the FCC recently.
Called Motorola MT917, the different RAZR has most of the features the original model offers, including the qHD (960 x 540) display, Android Gingerbread, the 8MP rear camera, the ultra-slim body, and Kevlar fiber on the back. But its edges are more rounded, and there's a TD-SCDMA radio inside - which means the MT917 will be released by China Mobile at some point.
Unfortunately, if you like the MT917 better than the original Droid RAZR, you'll probably not be able to get it outside China. But it would be nice if everyone could choose between the two designs, wouldn't it?
