Remember our story earlier this month concerning a new Samsung Galaxy S II variant that ran on Windows Phone Mango as we were busy cleaning up after the Independence Day BBQ at our backyards? Well, it seems that all systems are go where this smartphone variant is concerned, where it was present at the Microsoft WPC 2011 conference, accompanied by other new Windows Phone handsets. Apart from that, we also got whiff of additional manufacturers joining the Windows Phone parade – and they are none other than Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE.
It would be interesting to see just what Microsoft has in store for Skype after purchasing them, perhaps the integration into the Windows Phone environment would be something worth looking forward to? Samsung might be wading knee deep in Android at the moment with their bevy of handsets, but they have yet to put all of their eggs in a single basket with the bada OS and Windows Phone being supported as well.
