PopCap to pre-load its casual games on Sony Ericsson Android phones

Causal gaming masters PopCap have signed an agreement with Sony Ericsson, which will see some of the company's mainstream casual games arrive pre-loaded on the forthcoming Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro.

PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle and Chuzzle are the titles chosen, with the games arriving on the two smaller Xperias when they launch in the next month or so. And it looks like that may be Europe's first chance to play the titles, as they're still currently only available in the US-only Amazon Appstore.

The announcement says that PvZ and Peggle will only be trial versions, but Chuzzle will be given away in its entirety. Poor Chuzzle. Here's the press release:
