The main draw for the new myTouch 4G Slide is the phone's four-row Slide out QWERTY keyboard. While HTC has the best on-screen keyboard available for Android devices, many (like myself) are still drawn to devices with physical keys. But if you're not interested in the keyboard, the 8 megapixel camera may be exactly what you are looking for. HTC and T-Mobile have worked together to produce one of the best Android camera phones ever made. The camera on the myTouch 4G Slide includes improvements for low light performance, zero shutter lag, Sweep shot for panoramic pictures, photo burst, and ClearShot HDR.
If you simply want to test out the camera on the myTouch 4G Slide you'll have to wait another week or so. T-mobile will not be launching the phone in their retail stores until July 27th. If you do happen to pick one up online, please let us know what you think of it and if the camera really lives up to all the hype.
