The phone packs a 3.9″ AMOLED display, a body made from a polycarbonate material, with internal storage capacities of 16GB and 64GB and will be available in black, cyan and magenta. The phone will feature an 8-megapixel auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, a super wide 28mm lens, and supports HD video recording and true 16:9 resolution photos. The phone will also have NFC capabilities, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.
On the software side, the phone has a UI that is designed to make use of different swipe gestures, a browser built on Webkit 2 technology, the latest Nokia Maps, Drive, Dolby Digital Plus support that turns any regular stereo audio into personal surround sound on any headphones. Looks like a pretty sweet device. No word on pricing yet, but the phone will be available later this year. Head on over to the official N9 website to find out more about the phone.
