However, today we may have gotten a bit of a confirmation of sorts that a device called Xperia Duo will be launched by Sony Ericsson soon. What you see below is a leaked photo of some kind of promotional material belonging to Sony Ericsson, and the Xperia Duo is clearly named.
Now unfortunately this leak doesn't bring us any hard details about specs. Of course, the “Duo” in the name probably indicates a dual-core processor, especially since Sony Ericsson so far doesn't have any dual-core offerings. And in this day and age you kind of need to keep up with the competition in terms of hardware. And basically all of Sony Ericsson's big competitors that make Android smartphones have got dual-core smartphones out. By that logic, the Xperia Duo can only be Sony Ericsson's response.
Like we told you last week when the first image was leaked, the Duo seems to have a bigger screen than its predecessors, perhaps being in the 4.3-4.5 inch range.
We're still waiting to find out some more details about the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo. But judging from how quickly the second leak succeeded the first one, we probably won't have to wait long.
