Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE announced
Just in case you were wondering why the HTC EVO 4G LTE from Sprint looks so familiar, that is because this is nothing but a version of the HTC One X that was specially meant for the mobile carrier. The release of the HTC EVO 4G LTE from Sprint makes it the first HD voice-capable smartphone in the US, where it will arrive sometime in the second quarter of the year for $199.99 a pop on a new 2-year contract, of course. As for the exact release date, that will be announced at a later period, but you are already able to sign up for updates here (www.sprint.com/evo4glte), with pre-orders starting from Monday, May 7th.

As expected, the HTC EVO 4G LTE will run on the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, where it will also be integrated with HTC Sense 4, accompanied by a vibrant 4.7″ HD display, HD voice capabilities, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a large 2,000mAh embedded battery as well as two cameras – an 8-megapixel shooter at the back, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera that is capable of capturing stills even when you are recording video.
