Samsung Droid Charge gets new update
Monday, June 13, 2011
Own a Samsung Droid Charge from Verizon Wireless? Well, since you know that software updates are the way to go if you want to keep your device running at its optimum, here is some news for you – the Samsung Droid Charge has just gotten an update that will patch up the mobile hotspot feature to work anytime, anywhere you want it to. Originally prior to the update, it will only function if you happen to set the date to some time in May, so thank the heavens that with this new update, your Droid Charge need not get confused chronogially, working as intended. Apart from that, this update will also deliver a slew of enhancements such as increased battery life when you perform voice calls, a better browser performance, a newer email folder structure, and improved GPS performance amongst others. You can always opt for an OTA (Over The Air) update notification if you wish, but it is always better to stick to a computer download since that will help you save on battery life and time.
