We heard that this was going to happen, and according to Android Police the update is now rolling out. The G'Zone Commando launched running Android 2.2 Froyo back in April, and that has been one of its major downsides ever since. Now though you won't need to worry. Not only will the Casio G'Zone Commando impress your friends with its ruggedness, but you won't have to look away in shame when OS versions are discussed.
The update comes over-the-air, so your device should notify you when it's available. If you're impatient, you can always go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check new.
