Not long after launching the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Verizon Wireless is now getting ready to roll-out a software update for it.
ComputerWorld has it that the update should "adjust the device's signal strength indicator to more closely match other Verizon Wireless devices." This comes after various reports regarding signal strength inconsistency when the new smartphone
uses Verizon's LTE network – however, a Verizon spokeswoman told
ComputerWorld that "there is no issue with the performance of the
device."
According to some Verizon service reps, the software update for the Galaxy Nexus should be out sometime in January.
